Looking for a very special gift? The gallery has original artwork and craft items for sale to suit all budgets and taste.
Entry to the gallery is by gold coin donation and you can enjoy complimentary tea and coffee whilst you are visiting. The gallery also caters for groups and functions of up to 200 people, offering a delicious menu to suit your needs.
The Gallery has regular Art Classes operating throughout the week and some weekends, ranging from Folk Art, Life Drawing, Painting, Patchwork to Pottery Classes. If you are interested in holding a workshop to teach your craft the gallery has several classrooms to suit various needs and requirements. History of the Inverell Art Gallery and Society
The Inverell Art Gallery is a community gallery which came about through the creation of the Inverell Art Society. The “Art Society” started out with a small group of people interested and keen to paint with humble beginnings it was then in 1972 when the Society acquired Butler Hall and the Inverell Art and Craft Centre was born.
The Inverell Art Society has now been operating for 47 years and continues to grow, due to a dedicated group of committee members and volunteers.
